A passion project rooted in tradition, Aromma by Usha Narayanan blends the warmth of home-cooked flavours with the authenticity of handpicked, hand-roasted ingredients. The brand name is a heartfelt fusion of ‘aroma’ and ‘amma,’ encapsulating the essence of love and care that goes into every batch of podi.
The packaging is a bold departure from the conventional. Infused with vibrant, AI-generated imagery, it brings together striking visuals of Indian women, spices and food seamlessly integrating podi into the brand’s identity. Rich neon colours and contemporary shapes create a modern yet culturally rooted aesthetic, ensuring Aromma stands out in a traditionally muted category. From branding and packaging to the logo, colour palette and social media marketing collaterals, every element was meticulously designed to celebrate heritage in a refreshingly modern way.
